Freefall for a minute at an exhilarating 220 km/h before the parachute opens and then glide gently over the gorgeous coast. You have a choice of heart-racing jump heights. On the way down enjoy panoramas of the North Coast’s beautiful beaches, the vast Pacific Ocean, and mountains and forests that belong to the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area.
You’ll be joined on the tandem jump with one of Skydive Byron Bay’s highly qualified instructors, who will operate the parachute all the way to your landing. The parachute opens at 1.5 km above the ground and then you glide like a bird to the drop zone. Free bus transfers are available from Byron Bay, Ballina, Gold Coast and Brisbane. From Sydney, airlines fly to airports in Ballina, Gold Coast and Brisbane. Jumps are available seven days, weather permitting, except on December 25 and January 1.
