Experienced guides from The Rocks Walking Tours will take you back in history. The Rocks is where modern Sydney began in 1788, when soldiers, sailors and convicts from The First Fleet first stepped ashore after their precarious journey from Britain. Visitors on the tours will hear compelling stories of the penal colony until the present day. The Rocks Walking Tours are daily at 10.30am and 1.30pm except Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day and Good Friday. Tours last about 1.5 hours.
The Rocks Walking Tours depart from the company’s office, which is conveniently located in the The Rocks at Shop 4a, Clocktower Square, on the corner of Argyle and Harrington streets. It’s a short walk from Circular Quay. To ensure a place on your preferred tour, reservations prior to the day are encouraged. The Rocks Walking Tours also cater for educational, corporate and private VIP tours.
